All Stella had to do was sniff the man to know if he was meant for her. Brycen was his name and there was a human woman trying to claim him. When Stella caught his scent she knew he was her mate. Stella was determined to find Brycen and free herself. Brycen had tore Stella’s heart choosing a human over her and Stella knew she would never find anything as good as she and Brycen could have had together. Once this job was over Brycen planned on going after the she dragon and beginning her to forgive him. Luke had talked Brycen into going to the bar. Then Stella came in and Brycen caught her scent and knew he had to leave. Stella was the new singer for the bar. Stella had lost all her family and clans to dragon hunters about twelve years ago and Stella doesn’t really know everything about being a dragon. As humans and dragons now lived side by side. Dragons had been hunted to a small amount compared to how many there had been in days of old.I really liked this story it was fast paced and had: love, drama, compassion, humans, dragons, heartaches, and more. This story fit a lot into it for being a novella. This story had a different take in that if you didn’t find your mate in a certain amount of time you would remain a dragon forever. But there were times when things seemed rushed even for a novella. Also there should have been more of a back story on the characters especially Brycen and Stella even in something as simple as what they looked like. But I did like this story a lot and would have given a 4.5 if I could. I loved the ins and outs such as they were and I recommend.

good fast read but has no depth to it. It will leave you with plenty of questions and then some! If you are looking for a full read with details that do not include the sex scenes this is not it. It was a good read but left a lot to the imagination almost too much!
Stella Montrose, a rare pure blood she-dragon has been without family and a clan for twelve years due to hunters killing everyone but her. She knows that her mate is Brycen Conners a male dragon but he is protecting a human female named Alexandria he thinks when he is finished this job he will claim Stella. Little does he know that Stella has not got much time until her change to dragon will be permanent and that their enemy is closer than they know.Will Brycen be able to claim Stella before she changes, who is the enemy, and who is Jace to Stella. all in all just another sex book pretending to tell a story. The world building is vague at best and that makes it a great deal better than her other dragon novellas. And yes I have tried 3 of them hoping that she will try to explain the background or the era or the culture ANYTHING! Just someone else that thinks all you have to do is throw in shapeshifters and voila you are now Feehan or Laurenston/Aiken. And yet this is a 100times better than the piece of !#^% that I downloaded the other day that turned out to be porn just throw in a dragon and hey sell it as a romance. I like sex as much as the next person but enough of no story just odd kinky sex with a stranger and no real plot, characters ,or background.
Elianne Adam has fabricated a world where the Dragon Blood people have been persecuted to near extinction. A group of males have banded together to fight dragon Hunters and in Book One the first of these men, Brycen, has found his fated mate, the She-Dragon, Stella. Before they can have their HEA there are complications to overcome and dragon Hunters to defeat.
My very favorite stories are those where the characters spring to life and I am right there, an intimate friend, sharing their thoughts, feelings and experiences. Elianne has delightfully done this and more❣
Pure genius! As usual, Author Elianne Adam's has left me speechless with this brand new series! She sucks you in from the first few pages with her ability to weave her magic around you in her action packed and extremely smoking hot romance from cover to cover, you won't be able to pick a favorite story of hers either! She certainly knows how to get your heart pumping!
I can't leave a blurb without giving spoilers but there's much more to this book than just what the blurb says.

I thought that this story was a quick and fast paced read which was great and even better that it had lots of dragons and of course the sex was hot.
But what I would have liked to read more of was more of Stella's background of why she had no family or clan and how she had no real knowledge of being a dragon or what other stuff went with it. Had she ever changed before this time in the book and if not why? Why and how did Brycen fit into all this in the first place since not much of his story was described in the story except the last two or three pages.
I would recommend this story for anyone that wants to read a fast paced paranormal dragon read with lots of hot sex added. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future as well.
This the 1st book in the Dragon Blood series...There wasn't what I would call a cliff hanger but for the full story you should read the full series...Brycen & Stella's story is about two dragon mates and the challenges they face with the dual threats of her dragon emerging for the 1st time and her remaining a dragon unable to shift back to a human form unless Brycen completes the mating process in time... The other threat being dragon hunters who threaten their obliterate their kind...this is a good 1st installment in a series...Their story will develop more as you go along in the series...this is erotica at it's best and has some very hot sex scenes...read the series you won't be disappointed..
